I really like WordPress. I’ve used a few of the popular content management systems (CMS), like Joomla and Drupal, and even built a few of our own, but WordPress is my favorite. And this latest upgrade of WordPress from 2.7. to 2.8 (called Baker) is really nice. WordPress was already leaps and bounds ahead of the others in many ways, and this release includes many nice features, including redesigned widgets, more ajaxy interfaces, faster speeds and almost 800 bug fixes.  The nicest feature of WordPress, though, is the fact that you have a one click upgrades for your version and now themes in addition to widgets.
I expect you’ll start seeing a lot more blogs changing their look more frequently now. I have no plans to change my look anytime soon, but for new blogs I work on for my clients, this makes it so easy for them to experiment and try out new themes to find the perfect one.
Also, upgrade time for me for this blog to 2.8… about 2 minutes and 2 clicks. DONE!
